QR Plus is a QR code scanner, barcode reader, QR code generator, and barcode generator app available on Android and iOS.

By using QR Plus, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the app.

1. Summary

QR Plus is designed to process QR codes, barcodes, generated codes, selected images, and scan history on your device.

We do not operate a backend database for your scanned QR codes, barcode results, generated QR codes, generated barcodes, selected images, or scan history.

We do not upload the contents of your scanned QR codes, barcode results, generated codes, selected images, or scan history to Dajiraj Infotech servers.

However, QR Plus uses third-party services for ads, analytics, crash reporting, and subscription or purchase management. These services may collect limited technical, advertising, analytics, diagnostic, device identifier, approximate location, and purchase-related data as described below.

2. Information processed locally on your device

QR Plus may process the following information locally on your device:

  • QR codes scanned using your camera

  • Barcodes scanned using your camera

  • QR codes or barcodes scanned from selected images

  • Generated QR codes

  • Generated barcodes

  • Scan history

  • Saved or shared scan results

  • App preferences and settings

This information is used to provide the core features of the app.

Unless you choose to share, export, save externally, or open scanned content using another app or service, this information remains on your device and is not uploaded to Dajiraj Infotech servers.

3. Camera permission

QR Plus requests camera access so you can scan QR codes and barcodes using your device camera.

Camera access is used only for scanning QR codes and barcodes. QR Plus does not use camera access to record videos, capture unrelated images, or upload camera data to Dajiraj Infotech servers.

You can disable camera permission at any time from your device settings. If camera permission is disabled, camera-based scanning may not work.

4. Photo or gallery access

QR Plus may request access to photos or your image gallery when you choose to scan a QR code or barcode from an image.

Photo or gallery access is used only to process the image selected by you for scanning. QR Plus does not upload your selected images to Dajiraj Infotech servers.

You can disable photo or gallery permission at any time from your device settings. If this permission is disabled, scan-from-image functionality may not work.

5. Scan history

QR Plus may store your scan history locally on your device so that you can view previously scanned QR codes or barcodes.

Your scan history is not uploaded to Dajiraj Infotech servers.

You can delete scan history inside the app where supported. You can also remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your device settings.

6. Generated QR codes and barcodes

QR Plus allows you to create QR codes and barcodes.

Generated codes are processed locally on your device. If you choose to save, share, export, or open a generated code using another app or service, that action may be handled by your device operating system or the third-party app or service you choose.

7. Third-party services used by QR Plus

QR Plus uses third-party services to operate, improve, monetize, and maintain the app.

These services may process information according to their own privacy practices.

Google AdMob

QR Plus uses Google AdMob to show advertisements.

AdMob may collect and process information such as IP address, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostic information, performance information, and approximate location derived from IP address.

This information may be used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and service improvement.

Firebase Analytics

QR Plus uses Firebase Analytics to understand basic app usage and improve the app experience.

Firebase Analytics may collect app interaction data, app lifecycle events, device information, app-instance identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and purchase or subscription events where applicable.

This information helps us understand app performance, feature usage, and general user engagement.

Firebase Crashlytics

QR Plus uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify, diagnose, and fix crashes.

Crashlytics may collect crash logs, stack traces, app state at the time of crash, device information, operating system information, app version, installation identifiers, and diagnostic data.

This information is used to improve app stability and fix technical issues.

RevenueCat

On iOS, QR Plus uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, purchase validation, and premium access.

RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, product identifiers, transaction information, app user identifiers, device information, and related technical data needed to manage premium features.

RevenueCat does not collect your payment card details. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

8. Advertising

QR Plus may show advertisements through Google AdMob.

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your location, device settings, consent choices, advertising ID settings, platform rules, and applicable law.

You may be able to reset or limit your advertising identifier from your device settings.

9. Purchases and subscriptions

QR Plus may offer premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed through RevenueCat for entitlement verification.

We do not collect or store your payment card details.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings or the relevant app store account settings.

10. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or allow processing of limited data with third-party service providers used in QR Plus, including Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and RevenueCat.

These services help us provide ads, analytics, crash reporting, purchase validation, subscription management, fraud prevention, security, and app functionality.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

11. Data retention

QR Plus scan history and generated code data are stored locally on your device unless you delete them.

Analytics, advertising, crash, diagnostic, and purchase-related data handled by third-party services may be retained according to those services’ retention policies and our account settings with those services.

12. Data deletion

You can delete locally stored scan history inside the app where supported.

You can also delete locally stored app data by uninstalling QR Plus or clearing app data from your device settings.

13. Children’s privacy

QR Plus is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use digital services without parental consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through QR Plus, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

14. International data processing

The third-party services used by QR Plus may process information on servers located in different countries.

By using QR Plus, you understand that information processed by third-party services may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, subject to applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information associated with QR Plus.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. Third-party links and scanned content

QR Plus may allow you to open links found inside scanned QR codes or barcodes.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, or policies of websites, apps, or services opened from scanned codes.
